This is the second romantic suspense that I read by this author (the first one was Killjoy), and I was disapointed. The book followed exactly the same structure: first 30% are just the background story, that seems to drag with more details than required. H meets h at 30% and the pace picks up. 30-74/5% are the "action", and when H and h get to know each other. At around 75 we get a sex scene, and then we slowly ease towards the resolution, which happens at arround 95%.The problem with this book was that there realy was NO "action" . 30-93% were just filler, nothing much happened. The sex scene was lackluster at best, and very "sudden". First kiss, sex, last kiss it all happened at the same time. Then nothing until the end of the book, when the hero decides he's gonna marry the heroine, and she agrees....I couldn't really buy their love which was suppost to be "the one" considering they decide to marry after 3 weeks of knowing each other and one sex encounter (that is counting the kisses)Also the suspense story line was extremly weird and unbelievable, and it was a HUGE stretch how the hero "figured it all out".After this review you probably wonder why I'm giving it 3 stars, and not 2 or 1, but the truth is the author has an entertaining way of writing. She kept my attention (for the most part), it's just that once I got to the end it felt like I've wasted a few hours of my life.The previous book was good though (even though I hate how predictable the structure of the books in this series is becomming) so I'm gonna give the next book a chance.
